Summerslam Hype: Bret Hart vs Owen Hart

Much like the last match selection this match was unfairly not given top billing on the 1994 Summerslam card and instead Undertaker vs Undertaker was given that distinction. Also one thing that I forgot to mention was that this match was not just the culmination of a year long feud, but it was also for the WWF World Title. Bret and Owen were one of the high points for Wrestlemania 10 earlier in the year and then raised the bar by stealing the show at Summerslam in the Cage. 

In many respects their feud in general was one of the very few highlights of a weak period for the WWF. As during this time it seemed at least from my perspective that the WWF could almost do nothing right and that the situation was never going to get better for the company. But if you have never seen this match then I suggest taking a look and letting yourself go as far as watching to masters at their best.
