Two Time Hall of Famers

A thought that came into my mind about the WWE Hall of Fame as there is still only one person the WWE has inducted twice into the Hall of Fame. A few years ago the company inducted Ric Flair once as a solo competitor and the other as a member of the Horseman. However, looking at this history of the WWE there are a number of names that could be inducted for a second time, but I'm sure the company wants to pick the right person because of the distinction the induction would bring.

Before the likes of Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Hulk Hogan and others get their rightful second inductions because of the stables they had a part in I think the company needs to look at the individual. To be more specific the WWE needs to look individual talent that has yet to be inducted as a solo competitor, but has been as a tag team or as a member of a stable. Though some fans might believe that D-Generation X and the New World Order should go in right away or sooner rather than later those groups could headline a class and could be put on hold for right now.

In my opinion someone the company should consider for a second induction is the legendary mentor of Tommy Dreamer from the Double Cross Ranch in Amarillo Texas.... Terry Funk!! Right now Funk does have a Hall of Fame ring from the class of 2009 when he and brother Dory were inducted into the Hall of Fame. However, to say that a man who has given 53 years of his life to the world of wrestling and as of last year was still stepping in the ring as a competitor. Though Dory may have become more of the household name in the territory era and a trainer after his retirement his brother never left the spotlight and always knew how to get attention. The man formerly nicknamed "Middle Aged and Crazy" was tearing the house down in ECW in his 50's and stole the show with Dreamer, Edge, and Mick Foley at the second ECW One Night Stand.

Overall the term getting better with age doesn't always apply to every veteran, but Terry Funk never lost a step. It is also pretty fair to say that over the years that Funk became meme before meme's were even a thing because the amount of times that Terry has called it a career and then came back is absolutely insane. Though at this point Terry has been out of the mainstream eye for a few years it would still be a deserved honor for his lifetime in the business to join Ric Flair as the second person to be a two time Hall of Fame inductee.
