Why a Shield Reunion is Just Band Aid

Anyone that has been watching the WWE over the last year can see that they really dare I say have an idea of how to handle the Main Event, but nothing else. Also to anyone that knows anything about WWE programming it's that at this time of years things typically hit a lull until around January. However, it seems as though the WWE is really trying to change this time of year into a more must see time period with the build to No Mercy & now TLC. 

I will say that the build to TLC has been very good especially seeing the slow burn to the Shield return and uniting against a common enemy. Not to be the bearer of bad news though, but with TLC almost upon us the question becomes wondering what WWE will do next month. This is also one of the many reasons that booking by the month doesn't work and usually leads to burn out after a certain amount of time or running out of ideas. The WWE at this point seem to be burning through every possible rating booster month by month. Now I realize that Cena likely had to take time off but was a Shield reunion really needed for the PPV following No Mercy with Survivor Series in November. 

For this reason I feel like the title I chose works because I think next month we will be talking about a new "flavor of the month." Now I am not saying that The Shield won't stay together for a long period of time as I do think they should and could stay together, but may not. The one thing I do know is that The Shield doesn't cover up the problems that the WWE are having with booking and look no further than the Wyatt vs Balor feud to show what I am talking about.
