I've missed this version of the "Broken One," because even though WWE allowed Matt to carry the gimmick with him from Impact Wrestling it was never the same. Matt never was able to creatively satisfy the brilliance that he posses and it is clear the exact reason he wanted to leave WWE. In less than a month Matt Hardy has shown exactly what the phrase greener pastures exactly means. The reinvention of the "broken universe" will be a sight we are witness to every week on Dynamite.
Overall it is crazy to me that Vince McMahon didn't recognize the gift that he was given having Matt Hardy under contract for the last three years. It is crazy to think where Bray Wyatt would've been had Matt been able to do what he pitched and it is crazy to think about all the possibilities that are now on the table with Matt or Damacus in All Elite Wrestling. First on the list is Chris Jericho and the Inner Circle and when the vessels collide it will be WONDERFUL!!!
