Road to Fight For Fallen: It Gets Personal

Back at Fyter Fest on June 29, we saw the former Tye Dillenger now Shawn Spears attack his good friend Cody Rhodes. However, Spears didn't just attack Cody he swung a chair and hit him right in the head; it has been a long time since I've seen a chair shot to the head due to the negative effects that it could have on a wrestler. I do think that cause of the rarity it happens now it is a good source of heat, but if your going to rely on a relationship that it known about behind the camera then it should be established previously rather not. 

After watching episode 2 of the Road to series it feels like they are going to go for the slow build for this feud instead of trying to run it into the ground early. I think that is the best way to go as it would give the company time to establish the relationship and how personal it needs to be over time rather than instantly. Done right in my opinion, this could be one of the hottest feuds in wrestling and the right thing to get momentum going for AEW. Speaking of personal the ending promo by Brandi about her career in before joining and after joining wrestling and how she views her upcoming match with Allie was well abnormal. See I never thought Brandi was a good promo before this, but after seeing the feeling and emotion she had my opinion has changed and it's clear that she has a lot potential in wrestling.
