This Day in Wrestling History: 6/27/196/27/2019 As always wrestling gives us both great memories and memories we try and forget, but with the amount of moments worth remembering that have happened we are bound to forget some. The same could be said about some talent that were very much underrated during their career or never at the top of a company during a run this unfortunately makes it easier for fans to forget certain talent. These two are very different talent and had two very different careers while they worked in this great business. Sometimes we encounter those that deserve to be remembered and acknowledged. I would like to wish a very big Happy Birthday to all who are celebrating their special day today and especially to the one featured below.

I might be watching them out of order now, but I don't really care as this was one of the episodes I wanted to see once I found out it came out. Even though Gino was a bit before my time through video footage I have become a big fan of the "Handsome Half-Breed." The reality is that Gino only scratched the surface of his potential and it's crazy to think how much more he could've accomplished had he not passed away. At the time of his passing Gino was just starting an incredibly heated rivalry with long time tag partner Chris Adams whom he had blinded only weeks before his passing. World Class had needed a new top feud to help bring the business back up after things tailed off with the Von Erich/Freebird rivalry and it looked like Adams & Gino were going to do exactly that, but tragically as history tells us that didn't happen.
The documentary explores various subject which include: Gino's Dad having been a wrestler Starting in Houston & Being born to be a wrestler His gift of gab Life outside the ring His death & The Funeral Plus various other subjects!!

One of these men would rise from local enhancement talent to ECW World Champion; the other was one of the best in ring talents in wrestling that never got a spot to show how good he was.
