After weeks of build and numerous rescheduling's the time has finally come for me to reopen the Live Chat section of the site once more for another guest. Yes last time was our first live chat, but now I was able to garner a World Champion. Not discounting our first guest James Bead, but well I'm really just happy someone else agreed to do it. So if you ever had the desire to ask a World Champion any question your heart desires now is your chance.
As Tuesday December 29, CZW World Champion Matt Tremont will join us at 5pm EST for a live chat with you the pro-wrestling fans and you can ask him any question you want. Please all I ask is for you to be respectful of Mr. Tremont as he is doing us a favor coming on tomorrow.

Random Wrestling Video of the Day12/28/2015 One of my favorite series to do on this site is the random wrestling video of the day. A few days ago I recorded an interview with former WWE star and Wrestling legend Savio Vega. Savio sat and talked with me for almost two hours about a variety of topics. One topic that we discussed that stuck out for me that we spoke of: His feeling on the Brawl for it All?

Year End Awards: Breakout Star of the Year12/24/2015 Many members of the wrestling world have had tremendous 2015's it didn't matter if it was having a number of great matches or stealing the show on national TV. In my book pro-wrestling experienced great growth in this past year and the future seems very bright for the business especially if these talents are in the lead:

Islanders vs WWE Part 212/23/2015 It was two weeks ago when I ran the first part of this post and it was also then when I decided to break it down into four separate posts as opposed to one big one. So now get ready for part of relating hockey to the WWE is in session. Let school begin: Question: Who is the Most Hated Islander? Scott: Brian Strait Rob: Most hated, hmm would have to be Brian strait. Coaching staff enjoys playing him which leads to many headaches for the fan base. Cause honesty, he's is not very good. Also coach Capuano could be up there as well. some blame is uncalled for I would say that, but some moves are questionable. Ryan: Brian Strait My Opinion:
Much like there in agreement over Brian Strait being the most hated Islander, I think most of us would agree that Eva Marie is the most hated member of the WWE roster. Though I normally would pick either Sheamus or Cena I didn't because I think Eva takes the cake with this one as I have never heard anyone say something good about her. Now her match against Bayley a few weeks ago was the best of her career which isn't saying much, but she also should've been in that position to begin with, but management loves her. So really even though Eva is a women she is a way the Brian Strait of WWE, because management/coaching staff love both of them but the fan absolute despise them both almost equally. Other then the gender difference this connection is actually pretty accurate in my book.

Former NFL player Brennan Williams has traded in his pads and uniforms for pads of a different kind and well nothing is replacing his uniform. After being let go by the New England Patriots back at the end of October of this year, Brennan decided to walk away from the NFL to follow his dream to try and enter the WWE. Now just a side note Brennan wouldn't be the first NFL player to make the jump as one-half of the Hype Bros Mojo Rawley is actually a former NFL player as well. Brennan has recently began training at Booker, T's Reality of Wrestling training school in Houston, TX below is some insight I can't provide, but that's why I look to Bleacher Report's Ryan Dillbert to do that for me:
"By that point, he had already decided to pursue wrestling. When the Patriots called, he had an apartment set up in Houston; he had contacted Booker T and was ready to transition. Still, he thought he'd see how things played out in New England.""When a line of students practiced an up-and-under move where one wrestler leaped up in the corner while another rushed in under him, he had to develop his own approach. The average-sized grappler would struggle to get underneath him. And so Williams has learned to springboard off the bottom rope to get himself added height. In the course of leaping and ducking and repeating, one of his dreadlocks fell off. The stray hair stayed on the canvas for just a moment, though. Williams bent down and placed the dread in the corner as Jake Roberts would his snake-filled bag or The Miz his sunglasses. There was already a larger-than-life quality to Williams in that instant. He looked the part of a wrestler beyond his girth." For the Full Article: Click Here

Year End Awards: Tag Team of the Year12/17/2015 As we enter the semi-finals of the tournament to determine who will be Wrestler of the Year it is now time to move on to the voting for the next award. Tomorrow begins the voting for the 2015 Tag Team of the Year. Over the last few years we have seen a rebirth of Tag Team wrestling especially in the major companies. Companies like WWE seem to be taking the idea of being in a tag team a little more seriously and don't view so much as bad thing anymore. That logic has shown this year especially because their a lot of good teams active in wrestling right now. But now it's your time to vote to see who you think has been the best:

Dewey Foley Coming to WWE12/15/2015 As of this writing it seems as though Mick Foley's son Dewey will be starting on the WWE creative team early next year which is shocking in my opinion, because of the fact that Dewey is actually a wrestling fan and came from a wrestling family. So with that being said I am very surprised that they actually hired Dewey, and that isn't insulting his creative ability or anything like that but all I am saying is that it is unlike WWE to hire someone like him.
It is worth noting that Dewey has been running a blog with his own WWE Creative ideas, but that blog is now private. Dewey would work as a creative assistant but it's not a full-time position and will depend on how he impresses officials during his "trail run" Though many people have recently been very questioning of the hire due to how critical that Foley has been of WWE in recent months. That was actually just another reason why I found this hiring so interesting, but well honestly both Mick and Dewey are different people and the actions of his father should reflect on him and vice versa. It really doesn't matter how Mick feels about the product as I really his opinions had any bearing on Dewey's hiring by the company. But that's just my opinion and it will be interesting to see how Dewey does once he does start working in WWE next year.

Comparison: Islanders vs WWE Part 112/12/2015 sI have always said you give me a topic and I can really write about anything well here is that idea put to the test. For the first time I am looking to compare two things that most people believe have nothing in common, but I am here to prove you couldn't be more wrong. As you may be aware by now I love having reader interaction with the posts and this own is no different I asked a small number of people to answer four questions and I will use those answers in this post series. Question 1: Who is the Face of the Islanders? Ryan: John Tavares Rob: Certainly think Tavares is most loved, solely based that he is the captain and the best player we have had in a long time. He brought hope when times we're tough. He's in some people's eyes, a hero in his own way. Not one isles fan would ever dislike John Tavares. Scott: John Tavares Relating it to WWE:
WE: It is quite obvious so much so that even a non-fan would be able to see that John Cena is the Face of the WWE and after what he has done in the ring this year it's easy to see why. Though he has his critics who doesn't, and though many may believe it's up to WWE to now start grooming more then one person to take Cena's spot when he hangs the boots up. Either way Cena thrives on the love and the hate that's what makes the dynamic he has when he walks through that curtain so different and incredible. At this point it's fair to admit John Cena's in-ring career will not last forever, but also fair to admit we will never see another John Cena.
