At this point the series is drawing to a close with only two questions left. But that doesn't mean this series will end as it will be back next year around the same time as you saw it this year. Much like I said in the last part of this post this series isn't designed to be about me and reading about what I have to say as that is what all of the posts I put up are about. This post series is about my Twitter followers and what they have to say so let me quit rambling and get to what they have to say:
Question 5: Do you think wrestling is on the brink of another golden age, due to an influx of companies on National TV or do you think it's just luck? Freddy: Wrestling the POTENTIAL to be on the brink of a golden age with all the new companies on TV, but several things need to happen- HHH needs to take over all of WWE, whether it’s ROH, Lucha, TNA or a new promotion, someone needs to infuse a lot of cash in the business to compete with WWE or they will NEVER change- they will continue to push their agenda against what the fans truly want and employ a bunch of TV writers that couldn’t tell a wristlock from a wrist watch- potential yes, but someone has to infuse a lot of cash in to a competitor for Vince. Christelle: It should give the public what it wants.if this is not the case,a federation of wrestle, it could disappear. The WWE is very strong for. but federations like lucha underground make their small way YourWrestlingWorld: I would love to see another golden age but I'm just not sure fans are interested enough in watching all the shows that are on TV. Kayla: I think so because, again, with all these choices on TV and the internet, people have more choices to watch whatever they want. Bryan: I mean it could be if the companies put on a compelling product and entertain the viewers and don’t insult the intelligence of the viewers like WWE and TNA do then maybe Wrestling can see a golden age. Bill: I think it "could" be on the brink, but it all comes down to the product, and how good it is, and how well it's presented. Right now of everything out there, IMO, ROH has the best "product" right now. For more from those mentioned above: Feel free to give them a follow on Twitter http://yourwrestlingworld.weebly.com/

Who remembers a few years ago at this point when the news broke of AJ Styles leaving TNA Wrestling and then a few months later Jeff Jarrett leaving the company as well. Well if you would have asked AJ Styles how he would have thought 2014 would go for him I don't think that he would say it'd go half as good as it went for him and it all started with a return back home after almost a decade away from ROH a homegrown stars returns. Also an Indy company celebrates a One Year anniversary find out who it was right now: Today is the first weekend of the new year and that also means it's the first weekend of wrestling in the new year. It's the time when companies attempt to start the new year out on the right foot and maybe even start the new year better then the prior year ended. Well right now I want to take this chance to mention two big events happening this weekend, both of which are taking place tomorrow. The first show is a big event as it is the One Year Anniversary show for On-Point Wrestling which will be taking place in Sewell, NJ tomorrow night. The other show is not big because it's their first show of the new year but it's big because a former start returns home. I am talking about the show Ring of Honor is running tomorrow live from Nashville as former TNA Star AJ Styles returns for the first time since 2004. Both shows are big in their own right because it's actually really big for On-Point having their one year anniversary and AJ Styles return is big also. But AJ returning to ROH also means big things for the independent circuit as it gives numerous companies a fresh guy to book. Below are two videos hyping both events respectively: I can't seem to find the original video that was with this post, but I do suggest investing in On-Point Wrestling!!! They are well worth the investment.

As the questions continue to be answered we move forward to the next question of the series. This is also why I am going to keep it short for this week, because this post isn't about what I have to say it's about what the Fans or my Twitter followers have to say about certain topics. Now let's get to the next question, but first Thank you to everyone who answered this question once again it was much appreciated:
Question 4: Does GFW still have your attention? Have they lost your attention at any point? What could they do to get it. If they have lost it why? YourWrestlingWorld: I hate to say it but GFW really never had my attention, living in the UK they have not really done much to promote it over here and I didn't even know that they was running shows maybe if they get a TV deal of some kind. I and others might start to take an interest. Kayla: I'm not sure yet. I've read stuff but I don't know, if they'll ever get it off the ground. I guess they'd just have to try to find an audience. Freddy: I’ll give GFW a shot if they get on TV. They have no shows scheduled in the northeast. The talent roster is lacking if the few shows are any indication. I hate the 6 sided ring- getting a whole TNA clone vibe (I’ve tried but I don’t watch TNA because I don’t enjoy it) Bill: GFW does have my attention, as I follow them on Twitter to keep up with their goings on. I think the baseball stadium strategy is bad, but the talent level is there to be very entertaining. If they also get on TV, they have a legitimate shot at growth, Christelle: I don't know GFW, sorry! Bryan: I have always been excited for GFW coming in 2015 and still am. I hate people who are judging GFW before seeing the product they have to offer. I mean people just for some reason have a negative perception of Jeff Jarrett, and it kind of disappoints me that people go against GFW before even watching them. Last week I posted up Part one of this and because of how long the original post was I split it into two parts instead of just having one long post. Part 2 of this post is the backend of what Vince & Steve talked about when Vince was a guest on Austin's podcast late last year. If you have never seen it then you could probably check the WWE Network as it is probably still on demand or you could try and find it on the internet somewhere. Steve Austin Goes Home
For those who don’t know back in 2002 before a Monday Night Raw, Steve Austin got on a plane and went home leaving WWE high and dry. Now before you jump up and say “Oh Austin’s a Dick” let me explain, Steve wasn’t doing a thing at the time and creative told him he was going to work Brock Lesnar on free TV with no build it and lose the match. Fact is Austin didn’t get the point of the match happening and he walked out. Vince and Steve talk about how Steve was difficult to work with at the time and that he would sometimes downright refuse to do things. They bring up how things were resolved and that Vince also fined Steve 250,000 for walking out on the company. Vince says “Walking only hurts the fans and they need to make examples of the guys who don’t it so others don’t.” In my book I agree with both points of view that if a talent walks out on the company it only hurts the fans and that talent needs to be discipline, but I also agree with the idea of how stupid it would have been to have Austin face Brock on Free TV for the first time ever with no-build up to it outside of a few hours. Fact is I know some may not believe I can support Steve for walking out, but think about this if the WWE would’ve booked Austin vs Brock on PPV with proper Build during this time that would have been a really good brawl and produced good buys for the WWE. That didn’t happen though, and even though everyone doesn’t support it doesn’t mean it was a bad decision. Punk’s Issues with Vince & WWE: Fact is I saved this for last for a reason, because I had other things I wanted to talk about first before getting to this. I also will keep this short because Vince and Steve kept it short on the podcast and this post isn’t just about talking about Punk & the podcast. Vince said for lack of a better word he is sorry everything happened the way it did and hopes they can put egos aside and work together again someday. In my book if Vince really meant this he wouldn’t be saying it on the WWE Network he would call Punk and tell him even if Vince leaves a message and tells him. This is not a shot at WWE or me siding with Punk I just doubt the sincerity of Vince’s apology because of the venue Vince chose to speak about it.

After taking a week off from this series we are back again with another question and Part 3 of the series. Once again I would like to thank those who participated in this as it was much appreciated.
Question 3: In your opinion is wrestling in a better place now then it was in a year or so ago? Bill: Yes. With the emergence of ROH and NJPW in their TV and internet endeavors, Lucha Libre and TNA also on "national TV", And all the indie wrestling available today as well as NXT, Wrestling as a whole is much better off. There's a lot more to love than just the WWE. Christelle: Wrestling is an integral part of the sport spectacle as the super bowl and other sports that the public can't wait for every week or every month with PPV. So I think it's similar position, but maybe a little better. Freddy: WWE is better now than 2010, but that is not saying much. They’ve dropped the ball so many times; they have no real competition to drive them. NXT is fun, the network is fun, but no competition means the companies aren't making the difference they could be. YourWrestlingWorld: I think it is in a much better place there is so much wrestling on TV right now thanks to Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Impact, Lucha Underground, & ROH that's 10 hours a week just on TV then we have on demand WWE Network as much as you like and of course all the great Indy shows. Bryan: Yes with HOH, Lucha Underground, NXT, WWE, ROH, NJPW, and GFW all gaining TV in the US I see good things in the future for wrestling. All Wrestling fans should be excited Kayla: I think so because now we have all kinds coming to the forefront such as GFW, ROH, Lucha Underground and NJPW. There's more choices. Who remembers back last year when Steve Austin first started bringing his podcast onto the WWE Network and his first "official" Network special with Mr. McMahon. For those who don't remember it was late last year and it became somewhat the talk of the internet because of the time it was around as it was only a few weeks after CM Punk's appearance on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling show with the "Podcast Heard Round the World." Now it is the time to take a look back at Vince McMahon's appearance on the Austin Podcast from last year and relive the spoken words of the chairman after a few months and having time to now look back. So enjoy this look back in this two part series at the first of what would become many live specials for the Steve Austin Podcast on the WWE Network. Top of Form Now I want to move towards when they spoke about nobody grabbing that brass ring and the roster being afraid to stand up considering WWE is the only game in town. That’s true, but also does that mean if someone told a writer his ideas they wouldn’t listen. If you have ideas about to make your character better and how to help the company a writer should always listen or you’re better off leaving even if you take a doc in pay. Because if you’re not being listened to what the point to stay around, it’d be like your almost being ignored and nobody likes that. I also don’t disagree with the idea of John Cena being the last guy to really grab the brass ring, but they also need to figure out that maybe the frequent creative changes and the lack of long term planning hurts character development and wrestlers wanting to stand up. To explain this further, all I am saying is that if you know you’re getting pushed one week, then the next week you aren’t, then the following week you are, then you maybe a little less excited, as compared to if they had a long-term plan for you and stuck to it, which doesn’t seem like something they do nowadays. To continue talking about the roster I believe the lack of roster is deeply hurting WWE now more than ever luckily they have a good amount of people down in NXT that are almost if not totally ready to come up to the main roster. Also about the talent being more ambitious, well I think it’s a two Way Street that if the company would stay with a long term plan then maybe more talent would come out of their shells. “Good Ole JR” Jim Ross: I will keep this part shorter because I really don’t have much to say about it and there also wasn’t much said about it, another topic discussed is “Good Ole JR” Jim Ross. Fact they discussed the part that JR played in Austin going home and if Vince would ever want to work with Jim again. Vince said he would love to work with Jim again if given the chance. In my book I think JR leaving WWE is a blessing in disguise for everyone, because part of me think it was time for both parties to move on I just wish it was a cleaner break up pre-say. If Vince has lost touch with what the people want:
I think this is a question that a lot of fans have been asking themselves very recently especially and that is has Vince lost his magic. Has Vince lost the ability to know what the people who watch his product really want to see? Well, Vince sort of ducks the question by saying he doesn’t listen to his critics only his audience so you have to be an active audience. In my book I see that as Vince saying in a way that if you don’t like something don’t just go on social media and say I hate without maybe mentioning something you would like to see. Basically all I am saying is that if all you do is complain, but you still watch the shows no matter how often you say that you’ll stop watching do you really think they will take your complaints seriously.

Random Wrestling Video of the Day7/8/2015 This used to be one of my favorite series as it was quick and easy to do, but still got a good amount of views. Depending on how well this post is received, this maybe the first time of many for this post or the last time. So let's get into it guys and gals. For the last few days I have been scouring the internet for a particular video that fits what I wanted for this post and I believe after all the "research" I have found the right video. In my book the reason I chose this video is because this shows the impact that certain talent has had on the fans and that even after they may be gone it's the fans that keep their memory alive. As many people say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and I totally agree which is why I chose the video I did as in the video a fan either previously or currently still is, either way he displays his spot on impression of one WWE Hall of Famer. I just want to add that he is one of my favorite YouTuber's and always puts up great content. Before the video I just wanted to add that one often imitates those that they respect or were able to study them (like as a way to learn their voice or other mannerisms). This, my friend is one of the best impressions of Randy Savage that I ever heard and I have heard a good number of them and I think it's on par with Hogan & Lethal. So enjoy: Note: This post is designed to give credit and praise to the original owner of the video & how great his impression is of a WWE Hall of Famer & Wrestling legend. On the heels of the cover revel for WWE 2K16 on this Monday's episode of Raw, I figured taking a trip back in time to when 2k14 was in development would be an interesting idea. This game would be the last game that was made by THQ and the first game published or released by 2K games. Now two years later we are looking at in many respects the big test for 2K to see how they do with wrestling games after a having the opportunity to make one last year. Let's get to the flashback: Note: This the roster that was published still about a month before the game came and it doesn't include legends or later wrestlers who were DLC for the most part. For those who may not be aware the full roster for the WWE's newest game which hits store shelfs at the end of October. This game is also the first of it's because for the first in 13 years a WWE is not being made by THQ but is being made by 2K Sports. Their parent company is Take Two Interactive who also owns Rockstar Games. I figured I would help those who may not already know about the roster by putting all together. So below and take a look at who will be appearing in WWE 2K14 on October 29: (Also visit http://wwe.2k.com/ for more info and to stay updated on WWE 2K 14) AJ Lee
Aksana (DLC) Brodus Clay Christian Cody Rhodes Damien Sandow David Otunga Dean Ambrose Drew McIntyre Eddie Guerrero Heath Slater Jack Swagger Jinder Mahal Justin Gabriel Kaitlyn Kane Kofi Kingston Layla Lita Mark Henry Mr. McMahon Natalya R-Truth Roman Reigns Santino Marella Seth Rollins Sheamus Sin Cara Tensai The Great Khali Titus O’Neil Wade Barrett Zack Ryder

Of course the IWC exists. And it’s growing. I think the Daniel Bryan movement had its roots in the IWC – I think this year’s Roman Reigns plans did too. It’s the IWC that dominates the audience or controls the audience in the major cities (Philly, NY, etc) and it will only continue to grow.
Last week we saw Part 1 of this series and now this week we move on to another question and Part 2 of the series. Once again I would like to thank all who participated in this series, it was much appreciated. Question 2: In your opinion does the internet wrestling community still exist? If yes what happened to them and if no will they ever disappear? Bryan: I hate the term IWC honestly, I feel as though people just throw it around when certain people like the outcasts of the WWE like AJ Lee, Kevin Owens, or even Paige. It is just an annoying term that I hope goes away but never will. Christelle: Yes, the internet community exists because we come anyway to change certain scenario that WWE wanted to impose on us, and I do not think it will disappear. YourWrestlingWorld: yes I think it still exists but maybe more on Facebook and Twitter rather than actual wrestling websites, I think as long as wwe and Impact keep going on about Twitter the IWC will always be around. Bill: Yes, if anything, it's more alive than ever. Between the SquaredCircle subreddit on Reddit, all the news sites, and all the podcasts. I'd say the internet wrestling community is not only alive and well, but also thriving and well served. Kayla: Absolutely, the IWC still exists. I see it all the time while reading comments on sites such as Cageside Seats and Bleacher Report. As for if they will ever disappear: as long as wrestling is still around, no. Freddy: Of course the IWC exists. And it’s growing. I think the Daniel Bryan movement had its roots in the IWC – I think this year’s Roman Reigns plans did too.
