Of course the IWC exists. And it’s growing. I think the Daniel Bryan movement had its roots in the IWC – I think this year’s Roman Reigns plans did too. It’s the IWC that dominates the audience or controls the audience in the major cities (Philly, NY, etc) and it will only continue to grow.
Last week we saw Part 1 of this series and now this week we move on to another question and Part 2 of the series. Once again I would like to thank all who participated in this series, it was much appreciated. Question 2: In your opinion does the internet wrestling community still exist? If yes what happened to them and if no will they ever disappear? Bryan: I hate the term IWC honestly, I feel as though people just throw it around when certain people like the outcasts of the WWE like AJ Lee, Kevin Owens, or even Paige. It is just an annoying term that I hope goes away but never will. Christelle: Yes, the internet community exists because we come anyway to change certain scenario that WWE wanted to impose on us, and I do not think it will disappear. YourWrestlingWorld: yes I think it still exists but maybe more on Facebook and Twitter rather than actual wrestling websites, I think as long as wwe and Impact keep going on about Twitter the IWC will always be around. Bill: Yes, if anything, it's more alive than ever. Between the SquaredCircle subreddit on Reddit, all the news sites, and all the podcasts. I'd say the internet wrestling community is not only alive and well, but also thriving and well served. Kayla: Absolutely, the IWC still exists. I see it all the time while reading comments on sites such as Cageside Seats and Bleacher Report. As for if they will ever disappear: as long as wrestling is still around, no.
