Former UFC Fighter Attempting to Break Into Pro-Wrestling

As of this writing former UFC fighter Phil Baroni is making headlines as he is trying to break into pro-wrestling at the age of 38. Phil is famous for his trash talking with former UFC fighter Frank Shamrock back in the day & though Phil has competed in his fair share of big matches he more often then not came up short. The last fight Baroni had was in July of 2014 apart of Bellator where he lost to Karo Parisyan by Knockout. Since then Phil has been training to become a pro-wrestler at the Future Stars of Wrestling training camp. Phil is being trained under the likes of current TNA Star Kenny King, D'Lo Brown, & Mike Modest.

All three of these men worked quite well in the ring and I think they give the new blood the ability to learn a mix of both the old school & new school styles of wrestling. This is the second former UFC fighter to make the jump which I as interesting because this might be the start of more former UFC fighters making the jump, it will be interesting to keep an eye on.
