New Wrestling Video Game Has Arrived

Much like everything else in the world, when your on top people are going to try to knock you off the pedestal and that is the case when it comes to video games especially wrestling video games. The video game developer Serious Parody out of  Dundee, Scotland has under took the task of attempting to dethrone WWE games from the top of the gaming mountain. This game is available for download exclusively on the PlayStation Network as of March 17, 2015 

Their Opening Salvo:
The wrestling game world is long over due a shake up. The same development studio has dominated the genre for well over a decade with little to no competition. Well as the saying goes, ‘Enough is enough and it’s time for a change!’

The name of the game is 5 Star Wrestling and the gameplay for this game will be based around the of "Ring Psychology" which in my opinion is a lost art in the sport today. If your unaware what I mean by ring psychology then for one that proves point that it is a lost art in the business today, but think of it like this if Rey Mysterio is facing The Big Show then Rey would work on Big Show's legs to try and chop Show down to his size.

The other unique aspect of this game is that they are not affiliated with any major wrestling company which means that there are No known talent in the game. However, they do have parodies of most all the major names in the wrestling business both past and present. Some names in the game are: Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, Jeff Hardy, The Rock and others as parodies to prevent a backlash from each company.
