Here's something I haven't done for a long time and I think it had something to do with the simplicity of the article. However, it could also be that I hadn't found anything worth sharing with you for this amount of time. But now one thing that has changed is that I have started watching a little more podcasts including Jim Cornette which is how I stumbled upon this video. For those who don't know back in around 1994 or 1995 the WWE sent Undertaker to Smokey Mountain Wrestling as a way for him to scout a future opponent it was Glenn Jacobs aka Kane. 

But what makes this video interesting is the not just the idea that The Undertaker wrestled in OVW for one match. The part that I found most interesting was Jim's initial plan for the show as he wanted The Rock instead, but it just wasn't possible at the time. I really don't understand why this stopped happening where WWE would send talent to developmental to pop ticket sales especially in NXT with Triple H running the thing. The only thing I can think of is if you look at "valued" developmental was in the period following 2002 and that amazing class.
