Back in the later years of WCW when the company was closing in on the end they finally decided to start bring in some new talent to give them a push. In around the middle of 2000 Power Plant graduates came to WCW collectively known as The Natural Born Thrillers. (For more info click the link) Now follow as I jump back to the year 1963 when the WWWF started after Vince McMahon Sr. & Toots Mondt broke away from the National Wrestling Alliance. The first WWWF World Champion was "Nature Boy" Buddy Roger, but Rogers only held the World title for 22 days before losing it to Bruno Sammartino. Now I am not going to champion by champion as Bruno held the title for over 2803 days. Let's jump to late 1973 when then World Champion Pedro Morales squares off against Stan "The Man" Stasiak. Even though Stan only held the title for a little more then a week legacy he left in Portland wrestling on the business lived on through his son Shawn. Shawn Stasiak or the man from Planet Stasiak is one of the many people to really disappear from wrestling following the end of not just WCW, but the Invasion storyline. Shawn in my book had potential written all over him, but he just couldn't talk that good which was the only thing bad about him. Now ten years after begin away Shawn is ready comeback and duplicate what his father did in 1973 and that becoming the WWE World Champion. How would he make history well a father-son combo have never won the World title in the WWE or any major company for that matter. Just seeing Shawn get back in the ring would be good in my book because I think their almost no chance he ends up in the WWE. Check out what this once promising young star has been up to since he left wrestling. Do you think WWE should give Stasiak a shot?
