This Day in Wrestling History: 4/20/194/20/2019
As always wrestling gives us both great memories and memories we try and forget, but with the amount of moments worth remembering that have happened we are bound to forget some. The same could be said about some talent that were very much underrated during their career or never at the top of a company during a run this unfortunately makes it easier for fans to forget certain talent. These two are very different talent and had two very different careers while they worked in this great business. Also sometimes we encounter those that deserve to be remembered and acknowledged. I would like to wish a very big Happy Birthday to all who are celebrating their special day today and especially to the one featured below.
It was shocking three years ago when the sudden news hit the internet that Joanie Laurer better known to wrestling fans as Chyna had passed away. Even though Chyna much like a lot of her co-workers had her issues and a checkered past that doesn't takeaway the impact she had on the wrestling business. The fact that Joanie finally was given the chance to be enshrined into the Hall of Fame this year is her way of finally getting what she deserves. I don't believe that D-X would've had the type of impact they did have without Chyna. Rest in Peace Joanie you deserve to be looked at as respected & honored.
