Tough Enough Season 5: A Look Back

A couple of months ago there was talk going around the internet wrestling world that Tough Enough would be returning after WrestleMania 31. If you have never heard of Tough Enough then you have missed out as it you an inside look at what it took to become a "WWE superstar." Tough Enough first started back in the summer of 2001 and was won by Maven Huffman & Nidia. After three years of consecutive seasons Tough Enough went off the air following the 1 million dollar Tough Enough in 2004.

Then in 2011 Tough Enough made it's return to television this time on the USA Network as a lead in to Monday Night Raw on Monday's. This time around Tough Enough looked totally different there was a new set up, new trainers, new location, and also a new feel from the others. The re-launched Tough Enough was hosted by Steve Austin and the other trainers consisted of Booker, T, Bill Demont, & Trish Stratus. However, neither the winner of the show or the show overall had much staying power and the show ended after one season.

Now after four years the rumors are back again and this time actually merit through news stories from USA Network that say USA wants Tough Enough to come back. Right now all we can do is wait, but I for one would love to see Tough Enough return to TV, but this time make it nothing like it was last time. The information is limited all I know is it is suppose to start up again following WrestleMania 31 I don't know anything else. All we can do is wait and while wait let's take a trip back in time to watch Tough Enough Episode 1 Season 5:
